The visitation is to ensure transparency, accountability and effective project implementation and also to access the level of work done in relation to the project plan and timeline, also to identify the challenges that might rise during the operation of the buses.

Governor Seyi Makinde, initiative to improve transportation to Oyo State is commendable, Reducing traffic congestion, enhancing passenger comfort and safety and improving efficiency are essential for the States development.

We highly recommend that Oyo State government should strengthen the supervision and quality control, regular oversight visit to MONITOR and MAINTAIN the project after the project has been commissioned.

The familiarisation and oversight visit provided valuable insights into the progress of the Bus Terminal Project 1 & 2. The team commended the contractors and supervising agencies for their commitment and urged all stakeholders to sustain their efforts towards the timely completion of the project. Upon completion, the terminal is expected to enhance urban mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and promote economic activities in the area.

Chief Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde, following the successful rebranding of the Ona-Ara Local Government Party Bus. Speaking during the unveiling, Dr. OTOPE explained that the rebranding was done out of love for the PDP and in continuation of Governor Makinde’s vision of orderliness, maintenance culture, and grassroots visibility. “These buses were first provided by His Excellency, Engr.
