Today, I proudly join millions of Nigerians and lovers of democracy across the nation to celebrate the 27th Anniversary of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

For more than two decades, PDP has remained a symbol of hope, unity, and progress for our country. It has nurtured leaders, built institutions, and championed democratic values that have strengthened our nation.

I salute the resilience of our founding fathers, leaders, stakeholders, and party faithfuls who have stood firm in upholding the ideals of democracy despite challenges.

A loyal Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde, following the successful rebranding of the Ona-Ara Local Government Party Bus. Speaking during the unveiling, Dr. OTOPE explained that the rebranding was done out of love for the PDP and in continuation of Governor Makinde’s vision of orderliness, maintenance culture, and grassroots visibility. “These buses were first provided by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde to all the Thirty-Three(33) Local governments during 2023 campain and it is our duty as loyal party members to maintain them. The colour had worn out, and since our party needs to be more visible across communities, I decided to rebrand the bus in the spirit of continuity and loyalty,” he said.
